Team Of The Year!

Team of the week, team of the year, team of the season:

Ladies and gentelman, we are living my favorite FIFA time of the year! Next Monday EA is going to release the team of the year, better known as TOTY.

Before I start telling more about the TOTY, I'm going to explain how TOTY and team of the week (TOTW) are decided. They are both decided by EA by how the player plays in real life. It has nothing to do with how you/someone else plays with them in ultimate team. EA chooses and releases every wednesday a team with 18 inform players. An inform player (also known as a black card player), is inform that week (7 days). An inform player is as the word "inform" says, a better version of their normal card. Their overall is often 1-2 better than their normal card. If the player is inform, you can only get their inform card that week in a pack.

The team of the year (TOTY) players are the best 11 players in the world that year in EA:s opinion. The TOTY team is almost always a 4-3-3 formation. Unlike TOTW the TOTY players are blue cards not black. And their overall is often 2-5 better than their normal cards.

Team of the season (TOTS) players are the best players in their leagues that season. TOTS is a bit more complicated than TOTY, and there are A LOT of blue cards available then. I will tell more about TOTS in a couple of months, but now I would really like to concentrate on TOTY, because I'm REALLY EXCITED about that.

Finally, lets get to talking about TOTY! As I said earlier, we are living the best FIFA Ultimate Team time of the year because the TOTY is going to be released on Monday. On Monday EA will most likely also release the TOTY goalkeeper and the defenders in packs. On Wednesday it's the midfielders turn, on Friday we will most likely see the attackers in packs, and on Sunday the whole TOTY will be back in BIG packs!  Why TOTY is really exciting is:

1. We are going to see the best football players in the world at their best! We are going to see a 97-98 overall Cristiano Ronaldo, and possibly a 99 overall Messi!!
2. A lot of 100k packs, with a (small) chance to get a TOTY player.
3. And my personal favorite: The biggest market crash we are going to see in FUT 15. ALL players go down to ridiculously cheap prices. The reason to this, that everyone is hoping to get a TOTY player in a pack, and EA is going to release a lot of 100k packs. The market is going to be flooded with players for extremely cheap prices. This is when everyone should be looking to build their dream-team!

A lot of people are trying to guess this years TOTY, so I decided to take a try. What do you think? How do you think the TOTY will look this year?

GK: Manuel Neuer: One of the easiest decisions to this years TOTY. Only Thibaut Courtois could have a chance.

RB: Philip Lahm: World Cup winner and a great season. Easy choice. Could play as CDM as well.

CB: Jerome Boateng: A harder choice to make. World Cup winner, but is Mats Hummels better? Hummels and Dortmund are really struggling in the Bundesliga, so therefore I believe Boateng will make the team of the year.

CB: Sergio Ramos: Although the World Cup was a flop for Spain, Real Madrid won the Champions League, and Ramos played a huge role for Madrid. In my opinion the best cb in the world.

CB: Thiago Silva: Struggling a bit this season in PSG, but played a great World Cup, and was suspended in the 7-1 loss to Spain. Easy choice.

CAM: James Rodriquez: Only because of the spectacular World Cup he played. 

CM: Angel Di Maria: He beat Messi for best Argentinian this year. That's got to count for something.

CAM: Thomas Muller: One of my wild-cards. Very underrated player. Played an excellent year, both in Bayern and in the World Cup winner team Germany. Position could be anything from CAM/ST/RM/RW

LW: Cristiano Ronaldo: In my opinion the best player in the world, and I'm hoping for him to win the Ballon d'Or this year. Also hoping for a 98 rated Ronaldo.

ST: Lionel Messi: Most likely going to win the Ballon d'Or and get a 98 or even 99 rated card. Excellent year once again.

RW: Arjen Robben: My second wild-card, and honestly I don't believe that this will happen, but I'm really hoping to! In my opinion worlds best right wing.

FIFA Blog

Hello future readers!

This is the first post I have ever written in a blog. So bear with me if I don’t post the “standard blogger” way ;);)

Why did i start blogging? And why FIFA?

I have played FIFA since Fifa 98 and Ultimate Team since Fifa12. I wouldn’t call myself “a gamer”, because gaming FIFA is just something I do in my spare time. And to be honest, FIFA is the only game I really play continuously. But don’t get me wrong. I do play A LOT of fifa, and especially Ultimate Team. For example I have played almost 500 games in Ultimate Team in FUT15. I’m not writing this FIFA blog to brag about my FIFA- skills, and I’m not saying I’m one of the worlds best FIFA-players, but straight up honest, in my opinion I’m pretty solid at the game. And that’s only because I’ve literally “trained” for this game by  really learning everything this game series has to offer.

Now we come to the reason I started this blog. As you now most likely understand, I’m a FIFA fanatic. With many years of experience in the game, I feel that I could really be a helping hand for younger and inexperienced players.

I’m not writing this blog to become rich or become a FIFA celebrity. This is just an area that I feel a lot of people are struggling in, and not really finding the help they need to become a better FIFA player. And again, I’m not a professional, I just feel that with some tips that I have learned and been told, I could really help struggling players.

What I’m going to write about:

I haven’t really decided yet what the categories are that I’m going to write about, and if YOU my reader have some questions you want to get answered regarding FIFA, please comment it. Ultimate Team is really my speciality and that’s what I play 90% of the time. These are some of the categories I want to write about:

I guess I now finished my first post. My goal is to post a couple of posts per week regarding FIFA, and I’m looking forward to answering any questions you guys send me.
